I remember Easter one year (Jamie must have been 12) Marsha's car was in the shop, and she had a loaned one from the car lot. It was white and very nice. Jamie ran into the house and smiled real big and said "Hey Nana, come and look at my new car."  I went and looked at it and he climbed in and said this is the kind of car I want when I turn 16, and I said maybe you can get one, little did I know he would never turn 16. I couldn't sleep last night for thinking about that day, Jamie I know I will see you again and you'll be riding around on a golden chariot! (Theres a pic of Jamie in this car in his photos)

I remember the first Christmas that I got to come home with Heather. Her and Jamie had so much fun together. They absolutely had a blast with anything and everything they could find. They stuck gummies to their noses and played in this giant ball thing that Jamie had. I never will forget that Christmas :) It was fun and amazing and I will always hold those memories dear to my heart. I love you Jamie and I miss you and so do all the little ones!

We had a meeting today at Dollywood and we had to tell of a memorable time we had spent at the park. All I could think of was the times your were there with us, and how you would laugh and smile all day long.  I shared with the group about you riding all the rides with your Poppy and what a good time the three of us had that day, your Poppy told you he would ride the teacups if you didn't spin them fast. I still remember how you turned and grinned at me when you two were getting on them, and I knew your Poppy was in for a fast ride, and how he teased you afterwards about making him sick, but then he rode it with you again.  I am so glad we had that day with just you, because it will always be one of my favorite memories.

Our memories of Jamie are all we have to hold onto.  He left us with so many sweet and good memories of him.  I remember his first halloween in the little white fuzzy bear outfit, with his chubby cheeks, he was so cute. I remember going to his kindergarten graduation when he got most popular in his class and the way he smiled at all of us on the bleachers when they announced it. I remember sitting on my back porch after his papa Todd passed away and us talking, how sad he was.  I remember the Christmas I bought him a cowboy hat and it was huge on him, but he didn't care he wore it anyway, even though you almost couldn't see his face. I remember when he got saved at Kids for Christ and baptized, how happy he was.  I remember picking him up at his aunt Savannah's where he had went with her to the Basement the night before, and listening to the c.d. all the way home, while he asked me a million questions.  I remember watching him ride go carts the last time we took him to the smokies.  I remember going to a play a couple of months before he left us, and him buying a candy bar then they told him he couldn't take it in, so during intermission he got it from my purse and went outside and ate it.  I remember that was the last night he was to spend with me. I remember sitting on the couch and playing Deal or no Deal with him the last time he stayed overnight. So many memories too many to write down, how I wish we'd had more time. I will never forget my days with him, and what a wonderful child he was.

I have so very many wonderful memories of our Jamie from spending his first night holding him in the hospital til the last night he spent at my house, him lying on the floor with my puppy climbing on him biting his ears and Jamie laughing. I'll never forget that laughter.  He was such a wonderful kid, always happy and free hearted he would give his cousins his last penny if they wanted it. How he loved little kids and babies.  I can never express the kind of child he was all I can do is say our lives will never be the same without him.

Something that will always be with me is what Jamie did our last Christmas with him.  We had a room full of family playing dirty santa, Jamie started to get the present his cousin had when he saw him tear up, as tenderhearted as Jamie was he wasn't about to make his cousin cry so he just went and got a present no one had.  That was Jamie always wanting everybody to be happy. What a blessing you must be in Heaven.

I only new Jamie for a short period of time but in that time I have a lot of memories of him. I think that one of my favorites happened just 3 months ago though. I was home visiting and one night whle staying with my Dad and Marsha, Jamie was showing Heather magic tricks with two large red pompom balls. He was making them disappear for her and I came in the door just as he threw them behind him. I quickly snatched them up off the floor and walked into the kitchen as if nothing had happened. I remember the look on his face when he turned around and couldn't find them. I could only keep it from him for a few minutes before laughter took over and I had to give them back. I remember that smile that he had when I did that. That smile always stood out to me! So beautiful and so handsome, just like an angel that was here on earth watching over us. I have many more memories from the trip to South Carolina and I am very thankful that he was able to meet my husband before he passed away. We all love you very much Jamie and I really hope that you liked the balloons and pictures that the kids sent up too you!

I have many memories of Jamie, but I think my most favorite of all will always be the beautiful smile of his when he was baptised!

We took Jamie and his cousin Lee with us to the Smokies for Jamies 13th birthday.  As we were going down the road Jamie saw a horse in a pasture, he started telling us a whole story about this horse.  Lee was in the backseat doubled over laughing, Jamie had a wonderful imagination.  We did not know it would be his last birthday with us. Maybe he's telling his funny stories to other children in Heaven now making them laugh. We love you Jamie.
